Hirvem - Valpoi

Well been planning for a while to go to this place in Valpoi (Goa). Planned a day before in the monsoon season as the waterfall comes alive during that time.

Left around 9-10 am in the morning from my friends Piyong's house. All excited and waiting to have a sight of the waterfall we left, on reaching decided to fill up our bike tanks.

Then we resumed on our journey, had a few photo sessions on the way & ohhh has to face the wrath of the rains, though it's always been fun to to ride in the rains.

Finally after about 1 and half hour reached our destination where we parked our bikes & from where started our trekking.

Not knowing from where to start we said to ourselves we'll go where the road takes us :P.

We walked and we walked and we walked and we reached nowhere. Then finally Piyong took the step forward and said follow me. The rest of us with nothing to lose followed him.

After walking for a few minutes we were finally back on track. But some of us were already out of breath. Those who could continued on the trek and told those fallen behind to take some rest and start walking.

Finally after another 45 minutes of trekking we reached the waterfall & man it was a class, just the view of it made the tiredness go away.

There were actually two twin waterfalls though the second one was quite hard to reach.

We had a bath washed our hands and face & felt the coolness & freshness of the water. After which we started our trek back where we got lost again :P though after moving here and there we finally reached our bikes, started them up & BOOM on the way back home. A TRIP TO REMEMBER :).

My New Phone - Sony Xperia U

Few days back my cousin came from abroad & he came at my house, & suprise he bought me an Android phone none other then SONY XPERIA U whoop whoop - :D My first android.................

Some amazing features specially the glowing light at the bottom which changes according to the most dominant color of the image displayed on the screen............only thing bad is that it has no expandable slot........but I can live with that :)

It comes with the gingerbread OS...........ICS update will be out this month soon........can't wait for it :D :D 

Avril Lavigne - Losing Grip

When my morale is down or when I'm sad...............what's good than to just play a song with a bust of heavy shredded guitar (one of the songs which i quite often hear) which just makes you feel good and great and don't care about what's going in the world outside................and say LIFE'S GREAT........  :)

Gokak Falls, Ghataprabha - Belgaum

This was earlier this year, decided to go on a very long road trip to Gokak falls situated in belgaum, Karnataka. Since it was more than 180km had to leave quite early in the morning. We all left on a tata safari :)

Well since we had left quite early we had to stop on the way to have our breakfast at a local hotel, had few omlets, samosas, bhaji's etc.

Since it was very long journey & sitting at one place in the car was quite a pain the ass, so had to stop frequently to refuel our stomach's.

Since we drove for very long decided to just stop and let the engine cool for a while.

After almost less than 3hours we reached our destination, situated deep inside the rural areas there was a bridge you need to walk through inorder to reach the other side, it was personally quite a nightmare to walk on it coz it was shaking all the time, but worth it :P.

The falls is a massive moutain like rock & a river flows down it, this is during the summer.....imagine what it would be like during the monsoons.

It's not that dangerous to stand on the edge & look down was a wonderful view though.

The last thing a trip is not complete without clicking a group picture :) .

Amboli, Goa-Maharashtra Border

Recently decided to go to amboli with my friends all of a sudden, this time we left early as for the first time it actually went according to the plan lol :)

We left at 8.30am from margao and then collected 2 friends on the way. It took us around less than 2 hours to reach amboli.

We had a bath at the waterfall, refilled our tummies and proceeded further, wherein we came across a nice view point wherein you could see the mountains & there wer small huts like built, basically it was like a honeymoon spot for couples, & we spotted many couples there lol.

This picture above is clicked from the amboli waterfall, as you can see the waterfall flows down the hill and you can see the mountains from here, the water also flows through the stairs you can see on the left hand side of the picture.

Well it was a sunny day, and it was quite hot, i prayed to the rain gods that to start raining :P

& 'vola' it did and it felt so cool and relaxing. But with good things came bad things like it caused fog and we could not notice the road infront so had to travel carefully.

Then we came across a point called kavdesar point where in we could see almost a valley of mountains & could see the rain forming on the other side so on purpose we waited for the rain to arrive :).

Well it was a trip to remember, & if you ever want to visit this place the best time to visit it is during the monsoons, it's a place to enjoy but carefully :).

A Trip to Sada Waterfall (Chorla Ghats) - Goa

This was on the way 2 the magnificent sada waterfall, situated in the ghats of chorla.........we left at around 10am from margao. While on the way we encountered heavy rainfall, but that could not stop us.....lol

it was fun to ride through da rains.......and always was :)

 Searching for the road to the village which is 8km from the main road was not a easy job.......since most of the locals there didn't know much bout da sada waterfall..........we ended in another village lol......but the villagers were quite helpful............they guided us...............& wow the road to the sada village was awesome................we wer riding through the clouds :)

You could acutally see the entire ghats as well as sanguem, valpoi, etc............the view was awesome...........

We had to cross quite alot of stream inorder to reach da fall..............it was atleast 5km walk frm da village to da fall......we hd 2 face quite a steep slope

Well i can frankly say it was a very big big big & another great waterafall i visited.............you could not even stare at it directly coz da water would just splash on ur face....

Summing up, i can say we wer not alone lol.......we encountered alot of leeches on the way 2 fall..............buh in the end it was worth it :) :) :)
